We receive no fixed financial support from the local authorities and so are reliant for help from organisations who can offer grants and from individuals, churches, schools and businesses who support us by organising fundraising events or providing assistance with storage, promotional materials, etc. Please contact us if you are able to help us with fundraising or if we can help to publicise an event you have organised.
Fundraise When You Shop Online
Calling All Online Shoppers
This is a great way for you to buy household goods and gifts and book holidays and train tickets, and raise money for R2R at absolutely no expense to yourself. If you already shop online, please consider visiting your favourite retailers through the websites of ‘Easy Fund Raising’ and ‘Give As You Live’. We have teamed up with these organisations, which are online shopping directories, to secure a percentage of all you spend for R2R. The sites list thousands of businesses, including Amazon, Argos, eBay, The Trainline, Next, Tesco, John Lewis etc. Every time you shop online with one of the businesses on their lists, R2R will receive a percentage of every purchase – at no extra cost to you. It is FREE to register and it doesn’t cost anything to shop and raise funds in this way.
Log on to the sites, register yourself and the charity, Routes to Roots, that you would like to support and start shopping. And of course, this is a year-round fundraiser and not just for Christmas.
